Banana & Walnut Loaf

Method
  1. Preheat oven to 180°C ( 350°F ) Gas mark 5
  2. Cream the cheese and sugar, gradually beat in the eggs
  3. Stir in the walnuts and mashed banana
  4. Fold in the flour and baking powder
  5. Grease and line a 2lb loaf tin , pour the mix into the tin and bake for 45 mins until cooked through when tested with a skewer.

  • 225g ( 8oz) Neills Self Raising Flour
  • 225g ( 8oz) Cream Cheese
  • 110g (4oz) Soft Brown Sugar
  • 3 Medium Eggs
  • 50g ( 2oz) Walnuts Chopped
  • 1 Large banana
  • 1 tsp baking powder
